Taco Casserole

1 1/2 lb. ground beef
10 taco shells
1 pkg. taco seasoning
1/2 c. water
2 Tbsp. onion
8 oz. can tomato sauce
2 c. grated cheese
taco sauce

Place 1/2 taco shells in lightly greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. In 10-inch skillet brown beef until crumbly.

Drain. Add taco mix and water. Simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes. Stir in onion and tomato sauce. Spoon over taco shells.

Sprinkle with 1 1/2 cups cheese, rest of taco shells and remaining cheese. Bake in preheated 350 degrees oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until hot. Serve with taco sauce. Serve with lettuce and tomato.
